My first students in 14 years!

I was asked to teach in a small elementary school. My students were a mix of 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th graders. When I arrived they were on the playground and I was able to once again enjoy the happy sounds that so often echo around schools. Thanks, Robin, for the opportunity! Oh, I did feel that I was in a time warp because I've been retired from my 31 years of teaching elementary art for 14 years.

Fall Into the ARTS at Rose Valley Lake

Finishing up some new pieces for the ARTSfest at 939 Trimble Road, Trout Run, PA. Two large tents filled with ARTS and artists, fall scenery by the lake, food vendors and musicians.

There will be a soft opening on June 7, 2015 from 2 - 4 at the Gmeiner and a closing reception will be June 28, 2 - 4.

MORE NEW WORK FOR THE ATHENS ARTSFEST - SIX DAYS TIL SHOWTIME!

I've been busy getting ready for the Athens ARTSFEST - here are a few little pieces for the group exhibit.

A BIG PROJECT!

 The largest piece is 7 feet long, there is a 5.5 foot long piece and a 3 foot one. They are sized to fit on three walls in the same room.
