More New Smaller Pieces for the Athens ARTSfest

 Now, for this last month before the show, I have to do some larger works. Stay tuned.

FOG & FLAME

Here's a commissioned piece for a new coffee shop - coming to Bloomsburg soon!  (It's four feet long.) (Becca's in charge!)

Just a few photos from my visit to the middle school in Trumansburg

 Some of the fifth graders who listened to my talk about myself as an artist and how I make my textured paintings.

I met their art teacher a few years back when I was supervising student teachers for the Mansfield University Art Department. 

 At the end of the day, some students participated in an after school workshop - they made their own textured pieces. Some of the high school students were able to join us. Colors will be added during the next workshop.

Some more finished for the Athens ARTSfest!

 I was quite surprised to find two new (old actually) patterns of plastic doilies on eBay. I bid 5.95 and presto I've used them in these small pieces. I was under the belief that only three patterns were ever made.

A replacement piece for the Sheldrake Point Winery Show

 A few pieces have sold at Sheldrake, so I delievered replacements yesterday. This is one of the new (just finished) pieces.

More work done and framed for the ARTSfest

Time to get serious about the upcoming Athens ARTSfest!

 I've begun making more pieces so that I'll be set for the Athens ARTSfest which will be the first weekend in May, as usual. I'll have to produce at least sixty more pieces of various sizes.

 Our friends Gale & Kath have six young grandchildren. The oldest is almost four! Their three kids have requested certain colors for each child.
