3 new paintings for the Artisan Shoppe

I buy the exspensive frames for the paintings that go to the Artisan Shoppe in Wellsboro. I'm trying to be upscale!

Corey and Emma continue to develop their art

Corey drew this while waiting for dinner in Olean, NY at the Beef n Barrel. He worked on the back of his placemat. Corey is in 2nd grade now.
Emma worked at Corey's desk in my cellar studio to make this timely piece of art. I hope this rabbit brings eggs this Easter. Emma is in 1st grade now.

eARTS Day at Mansfield University - A Video made at the Claymation Station!

Martha Campbell - assisted by Mark Polonia and Drew Sheddy - taught 22 eager minds how to create stop-motion animations this morning. Posted here is the short video created after a story board was developed, a background created and creatures made from colored clay. All was filmed and "moved" under Barb Wright's direction! YOU SHOULD SCROLL TO THE BOTTOM TO PAUSE MY MUSIC BEFORE WATCHING THE VIDEO!

My goal is 70 new paintings by the first weekend in May when the Athens ARTSfest is always held. (The weekend before Mother's Day!) I am closing in on finishing the first 35.

Bokeh - what's that?

"Bokeh" is that phenomenom that often occurs in the backgrounds of photographs shot with wide open apertures.

This month, for my photo club, we are to email our best bokeh photo for the critique during the last half of our "second Tuesday" meeting in Wellsboro at the Gmeiner at 7 p.m. Guests are welcome!
