Wellsboro has joined the "Play me, I'm yours" movement which began a few years ago in many cities across the globe. Unwanted pianos are painted and place outside for passerbys to play. It has become a great way to support the visual and preforming arts.
I was introduced to my piano in the Warehouse. I sanded, primed and painted along with 4 other groups and individuals.
The pianos will be place outside tomorrow in Wellsboro, PA. It is the last day of the State Laurel Festival.
A local lady passed through to see our work and, when she saw the moon on the back of my piano, she sat down and played "Moonlight Serenade"

I had the pleasure of meeting with the Wellsboro Art Club yesterday. I presented a slide program about my painting and photography. Below are three images I presented which show some of the steps in reaching a final "fine art" photograph. There were 55 other images in the presentation.

The Weigh Station Café is on Merrill Parkway which is beside the Towanda Riverwalk. The former train depot has this landmark sculpture of a conductor beside it.
There are 11 photographs and 5 paintings.
Plan on grabbing lunch or dinner there!
