Fun with new wine labels

Christine at Sheldrake Point Winery supplied me with some of the winery's labels. I've finished these five pieces in anticipation of the exhibition that I will hang at their Seneca Lake Tasting Room in mid January. I will display my "usual" pieces, too.

Student work - Young Artist Experience Camp

Three small pieces (a learning exercise) done by the students who ranged in age from 13 to 17.

Eight pieces either 8.5" by 12" or 11" by 14" which are some of my standard sizes.

Jenna, a former elementary ART student of mine, taught the drawing class at the camp. Here she is with her HS ART teacher James at the student show at the end of camp.

The culminating display of the Young Artists' Experience Camp

I had the pleasure of teaching my textured "paintings" to a small group of high school age students.  Gayle Hill, former college student of mine, started this camp 5 years ago as her masters degree project. The young artists stay in a dorm for the week at Mansfield University. They choose 3 classes to fill their day and work in the sudios of Allen Hall, the arts building on campus.

I made a short video of the Exhibit that was presented to parents and others:
