The final version of the Cream Ridge Winery Triptych is underway!

Well begun, well done. 1.Lots of water needed to make the impressions, 2. Dry and ready to be sanded, 3. Sanding is done - removed the puckers from pressing the stamps into the plaster, 4. Two coats of a type of "varnish" - polymer gloss medium. Ready to add the three layers of color!

3rd color layer added - purple!

Triptych No 2 is done! It is a study for a large commissioned piece. The final piece will feature some of the actual labels from the Cream Ridge Winery.

Blue layer on top of yellow layer - one more layer to go!

My color work on the Cream Ridge Winery piece is nearing completion. I have learned much from the experience of making the piece and from feedback from Tim at the Winery. Today I will start the final version (and this version will most likely be in my February exhibit at the Gmeiner in Wellsboro, PA.)
